Do They Deserve You?

Do they deserve you?  Are you constantly giving access to people who drain you and make you question yourself?  One of the traits that I find hard to deal with lately is people who are self-absorbed and unaware of others.  Everything revolves around them.  You are clear about what the situation is but somehow the focus shifts to them.  That completely drains me and frankly, I am not entertaining that type of energy and communication.  This is where I am at in my life. I am honest and my intentions are pure, if I say something I mean it and it is the truth.  If you turn it around and make it into something it is not, that is your issue, not mine.  I am very selective about who I spend my free time with.  I need to feel I am in a safe space, free to be me and not be judged for being me. It amazes me how some folks still try to put in a jab here and there just to make themselves feel better. That makes me sad because I recognize that as insecurity and weakness within oneself.  It is completely okay if you choose not to be around that type of energy. Choose wisely who you are allowing to have access to you.  Your peace matters! Be BOLD!
