Last Day of Vacation

 

I don't know about you but there is a feeling I get on the last day of vacation. Today marks the 11th day I have been off from work counting weekends. We went to see our friends in Michigan last week. We had such a fun time!  

I used to have a feeling of dread on the last day of vacation in years past but I really like my job and the people I work with so I don't have that particular feeling. It is more of what I am already missing.  I am already missing sleeping in and spending quality time with Sean and Jacob.  Snuggling with Koby a little longer. Moving at my own pace. 

I can not tell you enough how important it is for you to use your vacation time.  Even if you use it for a staycation, your mind, body, and soul need that break.  You earn those days so don't be afraid to use them. 

One thing Sean and I have done for years is to collect Starbucks destination/been there mugs.  We picked up Michigan and Ohio on our trip last week.  We are like big kids when we are able to pick up a new mug. We definitely look forward to it in our travels.   

 

As my alarm goes off at 5:15am tomorrow morning, I will get out of bed feeling refreshed with a positive attitude ready to face whatever the day has in store for me.  I will likely start counting down the days until the next adventure!  Get out there friends, and make those memories! Life is short, be BOLD!
