Workout Motivation

Let's face it, some of us dread the thought of working out; some crave it and have it part of our daily routine.  I would say I fall somewhere in the middle.  My son is 20 years old and since he was in High School working out has just been a part of his routine.  He will work a full day of landscaping and then go to the gym because it is a part of his routine.

I aim to work out 3 to 4 times a week.  Sometimes I fall short and other times I exceed the goal.  I am one to talk myself out of it quick.  The days when I am dog tired, I usually won't work out but those are the days I need to JUST DO IT!  You will never regret a workout after you have done it.  For me, I always feel better afterward and usually, I get good sleep.

What motivates me is the fact that I need to have good joint health and keep my joints moving.  I don't want to slow down with this RA so staying active when I can is important.  I want to travel and enjoy life as I age, being healthy and fit will help support that lifestyle.  Drop me a few lines on the Shouldabeenabook FB group about what motivates you.  We could all use the encouragement. Be BOLD!  Move your body!
