She's Back
Hello!!! I think my last post was August 29th. Not cool at all! I need this more than you know. I slowed down over the summer to give myself some time for fun and family. School started back after Labor Day and then I felt like the bottom dropped out and my world got crazy fast. There is a lot of change at my job and that seems to be the trend lately. It catapulted me into a lot of things that I hadn't planned on, to say the least. I know the changes are temporary and sometimes we have to step up for the good of the cause but needless to say, I was/am tired. With all of this "extra" my RA hasn't been doing the best. I play it off well but I have not been feeling the best. I had x-rays today. I can tell there has been a significant change in my feet, especially my left foot. I will get the results in the next couple of days.
I knew I had to get back to writing today. When you are not living in your purpose or doing what your soul was meant to do, there is this internal struggle, an uneasiness and you know you are not living in your purpose. This feels good!
This is post number 69 for me. My goal is to post 100 posts by the end of the year. I've got this!
A few things I have learned or have been reminded about myself over the past month.
- I am fiercely loyal.
- God truly is everything to me. He is my calm in any storm.
- I need to do better with allowing circumstances to control my emotions.
- When your body says rest, rest. Don't feel guilty about it.
- No one will look out for you like you will. Advocate for yourself, always.
- Change is inevitable. Your attitude and flexibility will determine how well you adapt.
- God does not like ugly.
- I can't let this much time pass between posts.
